The big friendly monster!!

Bumphead said “what do you want to do now” bumphead  said. “I don’t know. Charlie said “do you want to eat some food”. ”Sure” said Bumphead. And then Charlie went back home. And he lived a happy life at home and visorting bumphead oftenly. And finally told his parents about bumphead. And they were fine with it. And they were all happy day and night.

Math

During the week we did some maths and the question we did is: if flour made up 65% of mixture,what % of the cake was not flour.?
60 + 40 =100
65 +5=70+30=100
65+35=100

Our answer =35

in coding, it's fun because u can make a cool projectand game.
it is fun but it takes a bit of time tomake one.

Pioneer Pool

I had lots of fun when I went swimming and I learnt new things and things I had forgotten.

Also, when I went there, every game of mushroom I had won. Swimming is good because if you get stuck in a strong current, you can try to get out. Also, if you fall off your boat you can still try to swim back to the boat or land. Being taught swimming skills makes me a safer swimmer. 

Visual maths

During week 2, Room 15 and 16 learnt about graphs. With our math mate, we created our own graph. Grace and I created our graph about lego. 

We were able to look and compare our graph to our peers. It was interesting to do maths without using numbers - instead, it was all visual! 

Day trip!

On Wednesday the 13th of June, Room 16 went to the Art Gallery and Museum. 

At the museum we looked at the sun exhibition. We learnt a lot about the sun and even how solar power energy works! With the help of Anthony, we made models of solar powered cars in our groups. 

We explored a range of different Māori artworks at the Art Gallery. Using what we learnt, we went back and created our own artwork.
